How to Create New OLM File in Outlook 2011 Mac – Easiest Way

If you have loads of data in Outlook Mac and you don’t know how to create new .olm the file then you are at right place. Read the simple stepwise instructions to know how to create new olm file from Mac Outlook 2011.

Step 1: Open Outlook 2011 for Mac on your system.

Step 2: Click on File menu > Click on Export option.

Step 3: In Export Window, Select Outlook for Mac Data File (.olm) and then select Items of the following types option. Click on the right arrow in the bottom to proceed.

Step 4: Select No, do no deleted items option for keeping all items in Mac Outlook even after Export process get over. Click on right arrow to proceed to a new window.

Step 5: In Save As Field: Give File Name as desired to identify it later.
In Where Field: Give location to save the OLM file. Click on Save button.

Step 6: The Export process is running, as shown by the progress bar. Wait until the process gets over.

Exporting OLM data

Step 7: Now the Export Process is finished, Click the Done button. New OLM file is created, browse the saving location of OLM file.
